Friday Sports Night

As an outreach of Colonial Baptist Church Friday Night Sports Nights are opportunities for anybody in the Blue Ridge and surrounding communities to gather in an air conditioned gym facility and play a friendly game of basketball or volleyball with some folks that care about them.  We play for an hour and then take a 10-15 minute break for a brief challenge from God's Word or a personal testimony, then we play for about another hour.  It is an exciting time of fun, fellowship and spiritual encouragement.  This gives folks a safe wholesome environment to gather and have fun free from alcohol, smoking and profanity.

This outreach runs from September through May basically during the regular school year.  We rotate back and forth from Basketball one week to Volleyball the next.  Check out the church calendar and special events sections to see when we begin meeting again.  We are closed any fifth Fridays in a month. 

Basketball is just open to the men - 7th graders (approx. 13 yrs. old) to any age adult.
Volleyball is for men and women - 7th Grade to any age adult.
