Youth Impact Ministries

We have specifically chosen the word “Impact” as the official name for our church youth group (7th – 12th grade students). Our desire is to glorify God by impacting the lives of our young people and then train them to impact their world for Christ.  Pastor Joel and Miss Vicki, along with their trained youth staff, have a great love for teenagers!    

Our purpose is to evangelize students and then disciple them into mature adults for the Lord.  Although we do have a blast, our focus is NOT to entertain students!  Our passion is to help teens love God, know Him more, and serve Him faithfully. We have chosen the tool of Positive Action for Christ Ministries (http://positiveaction.org/) program to aid us in our discipleship process. Here is our plan for accomplishing these spiritual goals:

We help students to be EQUIPPED with God’s Word!  (Eph. 4:12a)
The Word of God is taught in our Wednesday night Pro-Teens Club Bible studies, Sunday School lessons, Pastor’s pulpit ministry, personal daily devotions, and in a structured Scripture memory program.

We help students to be EXPERIENCED in ministry! (Eph. 4:12b)
We give our students opportunity to serve God through monthly Christian service opportunities (i.e. Rescue Mission, Adopt-A-Highway trash pick up, etc), evangelistic outreaches, annual missions trip, personal witnessing, and ministry weekend trips.

We help students to be EDIFIYING the local church!  (Eph. 4:12c)
We encourage our students to be a blessing to our church through prayer, faithful attendance, giving, fellowship with each other and adults, coming to church visitation, music ministry and other various ways.

Our Normal Weekly Schedule during the School Year is:

Impact Teen Sunday School    10:00 A.M.     Sunday
Impact Youth Ministry Club      6:45 P.M.        Wednesday

During the summers we spice things up a bit with “Summer Sizzlers.” These are just fun activities such a “Destination Unknowns” and other exciting gatherings that are still centered around knowing Christ and making Him known.  Our teens and teens from other churches have some wonderful times fellowshipping and worshipping our Lord together.  Come see what God is doing in the lives of some great young people as they seek to “IMPACT” our world for Christ!
